Conthargos’s offspring are conquering the big stage

In 2008, at the age of four, Conthargos won the Deister Championship in Dobrock with 9.5 and effortlessly qualified for the German Championships. Due to an injury, he could not continue his own career, but he is now even more successful with his internationally successful offspring. He has produced seven licensed stallions, including Conthinder/Andrzej Oplatek/POL, who was successful in the international Youngster Tour. Also very successful at high level: Concona/Ben Maher/GBR, Conbelleza/Simon Delestre/FRA, Conbalou/Gert-Jan Bruggink/NED, Conthacco/Schyler Riley/USA, Conblue/Patrick Stühlmeyer, Jolanda/Oliver Lemmer, Coraline/Franz-Josef Dahlmann, Tailormade Chloe Star PS/Sören Pedersen/DEN, Call Me Diva/Clarissa Crotta/SUI (Oldenburg regional Champion), Gräfin Andorra OLD/Daniel Wolke (regional championship bronze medallist), Jadore Moi/Sophie Leube (successful twice at the World Championships for Young eventing horses) and Conthacco/Bastian Freese and Andrej Oplatek (Oldenburg Regional Champion). In 2017, a colt by Conthargos out of a Balou du Rouet dam won the “For Pleasure Ring” of the best show-jumping foals at the German Foal Championships in Lienen. Conthargos transmits to his offspring his large frame and athletic conformation. His offspring also please with their courage, respect, scope, technique and exceptional rideability. At the beginning of his career, his sire Converter won 22 show-jumping competitions up to intermediate (M) level with scores up to 9.0. In 2005 he won the Oldenburg regional championships, was placed at the German championships and was second best show-jumping stallion at the World Championships for young horses in Lanaken/BEL. Five of his sons were licensed, including Convertus, who was placed at international competitions. His 40 descendants who are successful at advanced (S) level are led by Crüger, team third at the European Championships with Max Haunhorst, Compagnon/Hans Thorben Rüder and Caja/Martin Sterzenbach.

Ridden by Jos Lansink/BEL, the dam's sire Carthago was the most successful jumper stallion in the world at the time taking part in two Olympics, in Atlanta/USA in 1996 and Sydney/AUS in 2000. His sporting offspring, registered in Germany alone, including Marco Kutschers Cash, Mylord Carthago/Pénélope Leprevost/FRA and Classix Girl/Sören von Rönne, have won over 4.3 million euros in prize money. Among the most influential of his over 50 licensed sons are Colman, Cardino, Carinue, Cartani, Carvallo BB and Crown Z. The internationally successful show-jumper Nike, among others, results from Conthargos’ dam line, which is of French origin and exclusively counts, with Latus I, Sandro and Colorado AA, stallions from our stud. Conthargos lends wings!
