Closely related to the Olympic Champion Nino des Buissonnets

Baloutaire PS was very successful in the Youngster Tour with Felix Koller/AUT. He also makes the headlines in breeding with his sporty foals that move with great power and balance.

Baloutaire PS made his debut in sport with victories in young horse classes. At his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, he received remarkable scores for his willingness to perform (9.5), rideability (8.25) and his canter (8.0). The pedigree of Baloutaire PS combines the absolute elite of the world's best show jumping stallions, starting with his sire Balou du Rouet. Himself successful in 1.40m show jumping competitions, he sired Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, bronze medallist at the World Championships and the European Championships, as well as Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, placed eighth at the World Cup and team third at the European Championships

His dam’s sire Chacco-Blue was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen, won the Grand Prix in Neumünster and has led the WBFSH ranking since 2017. At the European Championships in 2019 in Rotterdam/NED, his son Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR won individual silver and team bronze. Eight of his offspring took part in the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. In 2017, Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam won team gold at the European Championships in Gothenburg/SWE. Almost 50 of his sons have been licensed. His grand-dam Nema produced Stakalite (by Stakkatol), who was successful in 1.40m show jumping competitions. Voltaire, following in the third generation, achieved international triumphs with Jos Lansink/BEL. In 1989, he finished his show jumping career with a victory in the Berlin Grand Prix and second place in the Leeuwarden/NED Grand Prix. Thanks to the success of his offspring, such as Finesse, Play it Again, Altaire, Concorde, Dante, Especiale, Helios, Kahlua, Kannan, Limmetair and Lexicon, Voltaire is considered as a "Chef de Race" in France and has always held a top position amongst the sires worldwide. Quidam de Revel, who appears in the fourth generation won Team bronze at the Olympic Games in Barcelona/ESP with Hervé Godignon/FRA in 1992 and finished fourth in the individual ranking. From 1993, ridden by Thomas Velin/DEN, he won the Grand Prix in Hanover and finished fifth in the World Cup in Helsinki/FIN. With his offspring, he has set standards and is considered in his home country, France, as a "Chef de Race Mondial", just like his grand-sire Almé and his sire Jalisco B.

The dam line of Baloutaire PS is of French origin. The mare family 94 produced stallions such as Belphegor IV, Fair Play III, Lyndon and Veneur du Prêlet and the Olympic Champion in London/GBR in 2012, Nino des Buissonnets with Steve Guerdat/SUI.
